Yorkshire Printer Leasing is a comparison service operated by Compare Advantage Ltd. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us when you request quotes, and the choices you have about it.

What we collect

When you request quotes we collect the details you enter on the form: your print requirements, business name, postcode, name, work email, phone number and any message you add. We also record the page you submitted from and the time of submission.

How your details are used

Your enquiry is matched to up to four vetted UK suppliers who cover your area. Those suppliers receive your details so they can prepare and send your quotes, and they pay us an introduction fee for the matched enquiry. That fee is how the comparison stays free for your business. Your details are shared only with the matched supplier panel. They are not pushed into wider mailing lists, used for unrelated marketing, or sold on as a generic data record.

Legal basis

We process your enquiry on the basis of legitimate interest and the steps you ask us to take before entering a contract: you have requested quotes, and matching your enquiry to suppliers is how we provide them. Matched suppliers become independent controllers of the details they receive and contact you about your quote request.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to administer introductions, resolve queries and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

• Ask what information we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information.
• Ask us or any matched supplier to stop contacting you at any time.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.
